Tomorrow in Industry City, Brooklyn, Lux Lighting’s CineSocial begins at 11am and goes until 5:30pm. Spread across the IC campus, the event will have three main components: The Tradeshow, The Panels, & The Workshops. The ICLS is

The Tradeshow! is housed in building 5 of the IC Campus on the second floor. There will be signs pointing the way to 52A entrance on 35th street. The entrance is located beneath the 33 Flag, close to 2nd avenue. There will be 32 vendors on the floor, and lots of cool product to see.

The Panels! These will all take place in Camp David, also on the IC Campus and located in Building 3 on the first floor. You can easily access it from 36th street, or cut through the courtyards from other buildings to find your way there. There will be signs to help you along the way.

The Panels! A Schedule:

11:30am – 12:30pm: The ASC & the ICLS talk about the dp/gaffer relationship, and diversity behind the camera.

1pm – 2pm: The Lighting of the Tragedy of Macbeth. Join ICLS members Gaffer Mike Bauman & Rigging Gaffer Adam Harrison as they break down the lighting of Joel Coen’s masterpiece. There is a Q&A at the end.

2:30pm – 4pm: The Lighting of Spider-Man: No Way Home with Gaffer Josh Davis (ICLS), Rigging Gaffer Adam Harrison (ICLS), LCP Scott Barnes (ICLS), Key Grip Chuck Crivier, Fixtures Foreman Phillip Abeyta, and Lighting Control Foreman Derek Page (ICLS). The team will take you through how they lit the action film, with a Q&A.

5pm – 6pm: A Live Lighting Demonstration presented by Arri!

The Workshops! will take place in the basement of Camp David (just follow the signs once you get there). There are 5 workshops taking place throughout the day, and you can sign up for them here (click the ‘Experiences’ tab and scroll down a bit) https://www.luxlighting.events/
