Career Expansions and Transitions Webinar

Hello everyone,

We are pleased to share an upcoming free webinar hosted by our prospective partners at Behind the Scenes, offering valuable support to entertainment industry professionals navigating career changes and uncertainty.

The Career Expansions & Transitions Webinar will take place on 12 November 2026, at 4:00 pm (EST). This free, 90 minute webinar will help entertainment industry professionals explore transferable skills, income diversification, and ways to support their mental well-being during periods of professional uncertainty. Advance registration is required. Learn more and register here: btshelp.org/careerwebinar.

The entertainment industry is constantly evolving, and the path to a sustainable career does not always follow a straight line. For many professionals, a career is closely tied to identity, community, and purpose, making the prospect of change particularly challenging. When work becomes less predictable or no longer meets our financial, physical, or emotional needs, exploring new possibilities can feel daunting.

This webinar offers practical tools for identifying and communicating transferable skills, developing effective resumes and cover letters, exploring opportunities both within and beyond the entertainment industry, and managing the uncertainty that comes with change. Participants will be encouraged to recognize the value of their existing experience and consider new ways to apply their skills to build a more sustainable future.

At ICLS, we recognize the importance of supporting not only our members’ professional development but also their overall well-being. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and share it with colleagues who may benefit.

Let’s continue to support one another and strengthen the well-being and resilience of our global cinematic lighting community.

Warm regards,

ICLS Secretariat
